About the Role

The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, following OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations. The role includes performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, completing DVIR reports, and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. Drivers must promptly report unsafe situations, incidents, or service calls to the Operations Manager or Dispatch, and communicate customer requests or issues as needed. They work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency, assist fellow drivers, and ensure containers are dumped, positioned, and the site left free of debris. At the end of each route, drivers complete all required documentation, submit customer tickets for excess yardage, and verify that containers are properly placed to avoid blocking driveways or traffic. No supervisory duties are required for this position. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR). • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or service calls immediately to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other company drivers when directed. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers correctly without blocking driveways or traffic. • Submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow assigned routes and complete all required documentation at the end of each shift.

What You Bring

Qualifications include a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B), a minimum age of 18, an acceptable driving record, and successful completion of a DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review. The position may require a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for air travel or access to federal property. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. • Maintain an acceptable driving record and pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
