About the Role
The role is centered on delivering excellence in preventive maintenance and energy conservation for the client’s facilities. It supports the Engineering Manager in overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil installations, manages contract and procurement activities, and contributes to financial and performance targets set by the Account Management Team. Daily responsibilities include generating comprehensive reports on maintenance, inventory, and equipment downtime, while also maintaining logbooks, checklists, and preventive maintenance schedules. The position requires proactive management of critical spares, coordination of ad‑hoc M&E setups, and ensuring contractor compliance with house rules. • Achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs with high standards and energy conservation. • Assist the Engineering Manager in managing M&E project scope, quality, and deliverables. • Provide comprehensive facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services. • Contribute to financial and target achievement for the Account Management Team. • Meet Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements. • Implement and manage technology tools for property operations. • Support mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil maintenance within the facility. • Prepare critical spares lists and plan inventory for in‑house maintenance. • Oversee pre‑emptive maintenance to reduce equipment failure risk. • Review M&E contractor practices to ensure quality per manufacturer recommendations. • Maintain logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all M&E installations. • Arrange ad‑hoc M&E setups per client requirements. • Ensure contractors follow house rules and minimize client inconvenience. • Assume AFM responsibilities when needed. • Independently handle engineering-related shift duties. • Report daily M&E status to the Engineering Manager. • Generate service maintenance reports for office equipment. • Produce inventory and purchasing reports for spares and consumables. • Create downtime and breakdown incident reports. • Deliver services that meet or exceed best practice standards through contracts. • Adhere to policies, procedures, and compliance deadlines set by the Operation Manager. • Effectively manage and develop the engineering team. • Manage strategic contracts and day‑to‑day operations. • Respond to facilities‑management requests and oversee operating expenditures. • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
