About the Role

• Provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs. • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation. • Manage engineering issues from task initiation through completion, ensuring accurate configuration management and adherence to design criteria, codes, and procedures. • Perform assigned engineering tasks applying core engineering principles. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or address design/material flaws and regulatory changes. • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support outage activities as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) and meet access and medical requirements; mid‑level candidates need at least 2 years of nuclear‑related experience, while senior candidates need 5 years. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear engineering with at least 2 years (mid‑level) or 5 years (senior) of nuclear or related engineering experience. • Satisfy minimum access requirements and pass applicable medical examinations for the position. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree emphasizing Electrical or Controls with Instrumentation & Controls, strong transmission and transformer experience, I&C changes and uprates, reactor protective systems experience, PLC programming, and Professional Engineer registration.
