About the Role
The firm is hiring a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a major data‑center construction project. The role covers cost planning, budgeting, control and final account close‑out throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with clients, contractors and internal project teams. • Manage cost planning, budgeting and control for a large‑scale data centre project. • Prepare and present detailed cost plans, estimates and budgets to stakeholders. • Monitor actual costs against forecasts, recommend corrective actions and handle change orders. • Track contingencies, commitments and cost impacts across multiple project packages. • Produce cost reports, forecasts and presentations for clients and project teams. • Contribute to procurement strategies, bid analysis and contractor negotiations. • Support value engineering and design optimisation to identify cost‑saving opportunities. • Ensure compliance with internal financial systems, client requirements and regulatory controls, including SOX where applicable. • Maintain benchmarking data and historical cost records for continuous improvement. • Collaborate with project managers, design teams and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field. • Possess 3–5 years of cost management or project controls experience on large‑scale construction projects; data‑center exposure preferred. • Demonstrate knowledge of MEP systems, sustainable infrastructure, cost planning, budgeting and change management. • Understand procurement strategies and commercial contract management; RICS accreditation advantageous. • Exhibit strong communication and client‑facing skills and be proficient with cost management tools, Microsoft Office and cloud applications. • Adapt to on‑site presence as required by client needs and benefit from a flexible, supportive work environment.
