About the Role

At WM, the Operations Specialist for Collections provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers and helps coordinate all aspects of daily operations. The specialist troubleshoots safety, service, and operational issues, maintains and distributes department information, and communicates with supervisors and managers about operational concerns. They act as the KRONOS proxy for daily driver and helper updates and use Microsoft Suite and other tools for procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor. Additionally, they assist with payment processing, support operational projects, and handle customer and employee communications regarding service and scheduling. • Troubleshoot safety, service, and operational issues. • Maintain and distribute daily department information. • Serve as KRONOS proxy for driver and helper updates. • Manage procurement, time/attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor using Microsoft Suite. • Assist with payment processing and other financial tasks. • Support implementation of operational projects. • Communicate with customers about service issues. • Coordinate employee scheduling and work assignments.
