• Lead, mentor and develop a team of structural engineers and designers. • Oversee structural design and delivery for large‑scale commercial, residential, institutional and mixed‑use projects. • Ensure designs comply with international codes and local authority requirements. • Manage project resources, schedules and budgets to achieve timely, high‑quality outcomes. • Coordinate with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines for integrated solutions. • Prepare technical reports, design documentation and authority submission packages. • Support business development activities, including proposals and work‑winning efforts. • Foster knowledge sharing, innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

About the Role: Team Leader – Structural Engineer. GHD is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our growing team in the UAE. This role offers the chance to lead a talented group of structural engineers, deliver innovative and sustainable solutions, and contribute to major multidisciplinary projects in the region. Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (master’s preferred) and Chartered Engineer status (or pursuit) are required. Candidates must have at least 10 years of design and delivery experience, including three years of leadership in a consultancy environment, strong technical knowledge, client management skills, and proficiency with analysis software. Experience on Middle East projects is essential. GHD supports you in tackling some of the world’s toughest challenges, with resources and expertise available at every step. • Hold a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; Chartered Engineer status preferred. • Possess at least 10 years of structural engineering experience, including 3 years in a leadership role. • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of structural systems, materials and modern analysis tools (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Revit). • Exhibit excellent communication and client management skills. • Have proven experience delivering projects in the Middle East.
