About the Role

In this role you will apply your experience with space and ground system acquisitions to guide customers toward innovative technical solutions, translate complex concepts into clear recommendations, and influence program development and procurement decisions. You will support acquisition engineering and program‑management tasks for new starts and baseline changes, write technical requirements and evaluation criteria for demonstration and development phases, and lead technical engagements and program‑office evaluations from demonstration through operational transition. The position also includes COTR support such as contract execution, development and review of contract CDRLs, and creation of SOWs and requirements for RFPs and ECPs, as well as facilitating demonstration execution and program evaluations. • Provide acquisition engineering and program‑management support for new program starts and baseline changes. • Author technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and checklists for demonstrations and development milestones. • Lead and facilitate technical meetings, engagements, and program‑office evaluations throughout the project lifecycle. • Perform COTR duties including contract execution, CDRL development, and contract performance oversight. • Develop statements of work and requirements for RFPs and engineering change proposals and manage demonstration execution.

What You Bring

The role is based on‑site in the United States with less than 10 % travel and follows standard working hours. Required qualifications include an active TS/SCI with polygraph, a STEM bachelor’s degree, and at least eight years of government acquisition program support experience, plus a background in systems engineering and acquisition source selection. • Hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph and a STEM bachelor’s degree. • Possess 8+ years of experience supporting a government acquisition program office and a systems‑engineering background focused on requirements development. • Experience with system design trade studies, acquisition source selection, and test development/execution. • Desired: Master’s degree, 6+ years of space and ground‑system acquisition or sustainment experience, and satellite engineering or flight‑operations expertise.
