About the Role
In this role you will oversee all phases of utility construction on a variety of telecom projects, leading multiple crews to ensure high‑quality work and on‑time, on‑budget delivery. You’ll manage schedules, customer escalations, subcontractors, and job‑site safety, while interpreting drawings, contracts, and specifications. Participation in hiring, meetings with senior management, and estimating/bidding activities also forms part of the duties. • Oversee all phases of utility construction for telecom projects. • Lead and schedule multiple crews, delegating tasks and supervising performance. • Review progress against schedule deadlines and ensure projects stay on time and within budget. • Provide high‑level customer service for escalated issues. • Prepare and interpret drawings, blueprints, maps, contracts, and specifications. • Identify and resolve blueprint issues before and during construction. • Supervise subcontractors, inspect work, and manage related billing. • Promote a safe work environment and hold crews accountable for safety practices. • Participate in hiring processes and maintain employment paperwork. • Attend meetings with senior operations management, peers, and customers. • Contribute to estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, and change order preparation.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and has three to five years of telecom construction management experience. You bring deep knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, map reading, and a proven record of problem‑solving and hands‑on leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software are essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (preferred) and 3‑5 years of telecom construction management experience. • Possess knowledge of coax/fiber splicing, directional drilling, map reading, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
