About the Role

The Transmission Project Manager General will plan and manage small to medium single‑discipline projects as well as larger routine projects, coordinating professional staff throughout the project lifecycle. This role establishes client relationships, participates in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings, conducts design development sessions, ensures compliance with governing agencies, and tracks financial aspects to keep projects on schedule and within budget while collaborating with business and accounting managers. • Plan and manage small‑to‑medium single‑discipline and large routine projects. • Coordinate professional staff throughout the entire project development. • Establish client relationships and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. • Conduct design development sessions and ensure compliance with governing agencies. • Track project financials and adjust work effort to meet schedule and budget parameters. • Collaborate with Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller, and Department Manager for project reviews.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field, possess at least seven years of relevant experience, and have a minimum of two years' project management experience. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, the ability to interact with diverse design teams, and a commitment to HDR's employee‑owned culture are essential. Preferred qualifications include a PMP certification, professional engineering license, or other relevant certifications. • Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience. • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience. • Demonstrate strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. • Preferred: PMP certification, PE license, or other professional certifications.
