About the Role
We are seeking a permanent Programme Lead to manage senior direct reports, provide effective leadership, and champion a continuous‑improvement culture throughout delivery. • Lead coordination and delivery of a major airport expansion programme, aligning strategy with vision and objectives. • Define and implement the programme delivery environment, covering people, processes, information, and technology. • Assemble and manage a skilled project team, including external specialist appointments. • Optimize resources and improve performance against the bid baseline through monitoring and evaluation. • Represent the programme publicly, chair executive steering group meetings and engage stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance, risk, and stakeholder management standards. • Oversee creation and maintenance of programme documentation, such as plans, reports, registers, and lessons learned. • Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team culture that encourages contribution and recognition. • Translate the wider business strategy to the programme team and promote related initiatives. • Guarantee commercial and ethical viability, support business objectives, and meet legislative compliance. • Client focus – own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes, and build long‑term client relationships. • Create opportunity – champion continuous improvement and inspire people to develop.
