About the Role

The Duty Engineer position in Property and Asset Management, Hyderabad, ensures that all technical services remain operational during each shift. The role leads the engineering team, supports the Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager, and coordinates technical issues with clients and occupants. Key responsibilities include managing electromechanical and utility services with a technician team, planning and executing preventive maintenance, and conducting regular site inspections to identify risks or defects. The engineer also reviews subordinate staff work, maintains asset documentation, and tracks defect liability periods and AMC/CAMC agreements. Additional duties involve hiring, training, and developing shift engineers and maintenance staff, controlling budgeting, monitoring SLA/KPI performance, and overseeing vendor quotations, invoices, and cost‑sheet approvals. The role ensures safety permits, participates in risk assessments, creates corrective and emergency action plans, and supports evacuation drills as part of the ERT/QRT team. • Oversee electromechanical and utility services with technician team. • Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PPM) and regular site inspections. • Supervise, mentor, hire, and train subordinate engineering staff. • Maintain asset documentation, defect liability tracking, and AMC/CAMC records. • Control budgeting, monitor SLA/KPI performance, and manage vendor contracts. • Process invoices, approve cost sheets, and follow up on payments. • Implement energy conservation initiatives and keep equipment history logs. • Conduct risk assessments and develop corrective, preventive, and emergency action plans. • Participate in evacuation drills and serve on ERT/QRT safety teams. • Maintain engineering reports (DMR, MMR) and coordinate with regional and training teams.
