About the Role
In this position you will head the commissioning and optimization of advanced control systems for HVAC, lighting and energy management, while diagnosing and resolving intricate integration issues across platforms like WebCTRL®, Niagara, Schneider and Honeywell. You will integrate third‑party equipment using protocols such as BACnet, Modbus or LonWorks, configure controls, trends, alarms and reports, and maintain secure network connections. Mentoring junior technicians and delivering customer training are also key components of the role. • Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms (WebCTRL®, Niagara, Schneider, Honeywell). • Integrate third‑party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks and manage secure network connections. • Configure controls, trends, alarms, and reports to ensure system performance meets specifications. • Mentor junior technicians and deliver customer training on system operation.

Physical requirements include the ability to climb ladders or lift equipment over eight feet high and to lift items up to 50 lb, as well as a valid driver’s license that can be insured by the company. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, technical certifications in HVAC or controls, and advanced proficiency with building automation software such as WebCTRL®. Experience with TCP/IP and wireless networking, strong communication skills for non‑technical audiences, and competency with Microsoft 365 are also valued. • Meet physical requirements: climb ladders >8 ft, lift up to 50 lb, and maintain a valid driver’s license. • Minimum 3 years experience in building automation, HVAC, or related technical field. • Preferred: degree or certification in HVAC/Controls, advanced WebCTRL® expertise, TCP/IP networking knowledge, strong communication skills, Microsoft 365 proficiency.
