Director, SIOP and Production Planning

About the Role

• Presenting performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership. • Promotes process discipline and continuous improvement across teams. • Prepares and presents planning reports and performance metrics to senior leadership. • Occasional travel to manufacturing sites may be required. • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. • Facilitates planning meetings to drive consensus and resolve demand/supply conflicts. • Integrates planning outputs into broader organizational strategies and processes. • Leads demand and supply planning across multiple product lines and manufacturing locations. • Guide and lead the planning function across all plants. • Perform all tasks on-site. • Utilizing data analytics to support strategic decision-making. • Partners with sales, operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure accurate forecasting and production alignment. • Managing and developing direct reports in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. • Leading cross-functional planning processes and resolving demand/supply conflicts. • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required when visiting manufacturing sites. • Operate in a manufacturing office setting with exposure to production areas. • Driving continuous improvement and process discipline across teams.
