About the Role

The Inside Sales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Outside Sales team by preparing and managing quotes for large‑scale projects and by cultivating relationships with new or underperforming distribution partners. The position requires proactive outreach, analytical tracking of sales performance, and coordination with marketing and sales to drive growth. • Prepare and manage quotes for large projects (>$25k) in coordination with Outside Sales and ensure timely opportunity tracking. • Proactively engage underperforming or new distribution partners, including recent, orphan, low‑sales, OEM, government or key accounts, to increase engagement and sales. • Track and analyze sales performance of assigned accounts, collaborate with marketing and sales on targeted campaigns, and report insights to management. • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, serving as primary contact and aligning strategies with Outside Sales. • Maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunity status; generate performance and trend reports. • Own lead management for the territory, act as first contact for leads from campaigns, tradeshows or digital traffic, and support market research. • Assist in competitive analysis, pipeline development, and preparation of reports or presentations on market findings.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred). • 2+ years experience in sales, customer development, or sales support. • 2+ years experience in sales, design, or ITM in water‑based fire systems. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills with an analytical mindset.
