About the Role

• Design water transmission/distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance, treatment facilities, and master plans • Manage project design, permitting, construction coordination, and mentor junior staff • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external clients to deliver projects • Produce high-quality plans and review work of others • Develop work plans, control budgets, and apply strong project management • Attend meetings and liaise with clients, government agencies, and regulators • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules

Kimley‑Horn’s West Palm Beach, Florida office is looking for a Civil Engineer with at least four years of experience to join its Water/Wastewater and Utilities team. This role is on‑site and focuses on designing and improving water infrastructure. • Minimum 4 years of engineering design experience • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months • Municipal engineering experience designing pump stations, pipelines, and treatment facilities • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater) • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Entrepreneurial spirit with potential to lead practice and manage clients/team
