About the Role
• Deliver advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving support for nuclear plant operations, making key technical decisions. • Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, programs, and activities with deep technical expertise. • Identify and resolve equipment and system issues through direct consultation and hands‑on involvement. • Lead task management for engineering problems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timely delivery, proper configuration management, and compliance with design criteria, procedures, and codes. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support regulatory and technical projects. • Recommend new equipment, concepts, and techniques to boost performance, simplify construction, lower costs, correct design/material flaws, and meet updated code requirements. • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support duties outside the department as needed.

What You Bring

It requires deep knowledge of functional disciplines, industry codes, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient plant performance. • Associate Engineering Analyst/E01: Bachelor’s in a technical (non‑engineer) field OR Associate’s degree + ≥1 yr nuclear experience OR High school diploma/GED + ≥2 yr nuclear experience; must meet access and medical requirements. • Engineering Analyst/E02: Bachelor’s in a technical field + 2 yr nuclear experience OR Associate’s degree + 3 yr nuclear experience OR High school diploma/GED + 5 yr nuclear experience; working knowledge of engineering processes; must meet access and medical requirements. • Engineering Analyst/E03: Bachelor’s in a technical field + 5 yr nuclear experience OR Associate’s degree + 7 yr nuclear experience OR High school diploma/GED + 8 yr nuclear experience (5 at exempt level); working knowledge of engineering processes; familiarity with large industrial valves and actuators; must meet access and medical requirements.
