About the Role
The Service Manager oversees equipment servicing, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards. • Leverage current skills while developing new skills • Manage repair and maintenance of company-owned and customer equipment, including yard organization • Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to ensure equipment availability • Order parts to maintain adequate supplies • Train and assist staff mechanics • Collaborate with equipment vendors to learn maintenance requirements of new inventory • Evaluate equipment after repairs, maintenance, or safety checks • Document equipment status before and after rental • Address customer complaints regarding equipment condition or operation • Promote safety awareness • Perform quality control checks • Update and organize equipment service records • Create, update, close, and bill work orders • File warranty claims promptly • Commission new equipment • Manage parts inventory, including ordering and returns • Dispose of solid and hazardous material waste safely • Generate service and financial reports (equipment due, fleet status, work orders, warranty claims, inventory, financial trends, etc.)

What You Bring
