About the Role
Key responsibilities include conducting field surveys, producing detailed reports and drawings, and managing client relationships. You will lead conference calls, meetings, and workshops, provide technical guidance to the team, and work iteratively with multidisciplinary disciplines. Project management duties cover contractual, financial, and programme oversight while ensuring compliance with AECOM procedures. • Conduct field surveys and analyses using innovative methods. • Produce detailed reports, drawings, and technical documentation for all project phases. • Manage client relationships and lead meetings, workshops, and conference calls. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to develop the landscape planning team. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project delivery. • Oversee contractual, financial, and programme aspects of projects. • Ensure compliance with AECOM procedures and industry best practices. • Manage project budgets, financial reporting, and programme schedules.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is an expert in landscape planning and assessment, particularly for energy transition assets such as wind, solar, hydrogen, nuclear, storage, and grid connections. You should be a collaborative team player with strong technical skills, a passion for innovative and cost‑effective solutions, and the ability to mentor and develop the team while advancing your own career. Candidates must be technically competent in preparing LVIAs, TVIAs, and evidence‑based documents, with familiarity of NISP examinations preferred. A thorough understanding of the UK planning system for landscape architecture and experience in project financial control are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and competence in AutoCAD (Adobe Creative Cloud preferred) are essential, with additional experience in ArcGIS, Revit, or ProjectWise considered valuable. Applicants should hold a Landscape Institute accredited bachelor’s, diploma, or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute. A full UK driving licence is also required. • Prepare LVIAs, TVIAs, and evidence‑based documents; experience with NISP examinations preferred. • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the UK planning system for landscape architecture. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; competent in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud. • Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, LSS, or ProjectWise is a plus. • Hold a Landscape Institute accredited degree and be a Chartered Member. • Maintain a full UK driving licence.
