About the Role

The Operations Quality Manager at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group monitors and audits project quality management requirements, collaborates closely with project management and other stakeholders, and oversees quality objectives and activities. This role leads planning and surveillance of procured equipment, materials, and engineering quality activities while supporting senior quality leadership and supervising Quality Leads. Key responsibilities include developing a quality approach that meets customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements; guiding QMS planning; maintaining comprehensive documentation; providing training and mentorship; ensuring project procedures align with the QMS and contract terms; reviewing quality plans and inspection reports; reporting performance metrics; tracking non‑conformances; supporting design‑build/EPC project quality planning; recommending procedural improvements; participating in project kick‑offs; and adhering to internal policies while handling special projects. • Develop and maintain a Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements. • Plan, document, and audit quality activities, including reports, records, and inspections. • Provide training and mentorship on quality processes and procedures to staff and Quality Leads. • Monitor project procedures for compliance with the QMS and contract specifications. • Review quality plans, procedures, and inspection reports; report performance metrics to senior leadership. • Identify, document, and track non‑conformances and recommend corrective actions. • Assist senior quality managers with QMS maintenance and template development for project-specific QMPs. • Support design‑build/EPC project quality planning and participate in project kick‑off discussions. • Collaborate with Quanta Operation Units during pursuit phases to meet quality obligations. • Lead special projects and ensure adherence to internal standards, policies, and procedures.

The ideal candidate holds at least an associate’s degree with three years of relevant experience (or six years without a degree) and preferably a bachelor’s in construction management, electrical, or civil engineering. Required experience includes quality management systems for construction, engineering, or manufacturing, multi‑state code knowledge, advanced Procore proficiency, safety and environmental expertise, leadership of surveillance programs, technical inspection skills, non‑conformance verification, critical‑path scheduling, OSHA certifications, and auditor or inspection certifications. Strong problem‑solving, detail orientation, organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities are also essential. • Associate’s degree with ≥3 years (or 6 years) experience in design, surveillance, and project quality management; bachelor’s degree preferred. • Experience with construction/engineering quality management systems and ISO 9001 compliance. • Advanced Procore proficiency for project quality administration. • Strong safety and environmental knowledge; 10‑hour OSHA certification (30‑hour optional). • Leadership experience overseeing surveillance and inspection programs. • Technical expertise in inspection, testing, and non‑conformance verification. • Ability to manage critical‑path scheduling and navigate multi‑state regulatory codes. • Auditor certifications (CIA, CQA) and civil/electrical inspection certifications preferred. • Excellent problem‑solving, detail‑oriented, organizational, and communication skills.
