Electrician Apprentice

About the Role

• Gather tools and supplies for the work site. • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit. • Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings. • Trace short circuits in wiring. • Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors. • Perform minor repairs such as replacing fuses, sockets, bulbs, and switches. • Maintain tools, equipment, and organized supplies. • Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace worn parts, and reassemble. • Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

What You Bring

The current opening is for an Electrician Apprentice. In this role the apprentice will assist journeymen and other apprentices by handling material, gathering supplies, and keeping the shop floor organized while learning core electrical tasks. The position provides hands‑on experience with tools, wiring, conduit, and basic electrical troubleshooting in a supportive environment. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid state driver’s license with a clean record, and the basic hand tools required for an electrician. A willingness to multitask, some electrical knowledge, and the appropriate state certification are also required.
