About the Role
Engineers provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs, and they consult directly to identify and resolve equipment and system issues. They are accountable for accurate, complete, and timely work, ensuring proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes. Additional responsibilities include independent research, recommending improvements, and supporting emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed. • Provide technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs. • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct consultation. • Manage engineering tasks ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness per codes and standards. • Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses to support technical projects. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, and address design or regulatory issues. • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and outage support as needed.

What You Bring
The position performs advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving in support of nuclear plant operations, making technical decisions and applying deep functional knowledge. It requires thorough understanding of industry codes and regulations and their practical application. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) and meet plant access and medical requirements. Entry‑level positions are open to new graduates; mid‑level engineers need at least two years of nuclear or related experience; senior engineers require five years of nuclear or related experience. Preferred qualifications include Professional Engineer registration and an advanced technical degree or related coursework. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear). • Entry‑level: new graduate; Mid‑level: 2+ years nuclear or related engineering experience; Senior: 5+ years nuclear or related experience. • Meet minimum plant access and medical examination requirements. • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) registration and an advanced technical degree or related coursework.
