About the Role

This position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on operational excellence, aiming to deliver high‑quality outcomes for one of South Australia’s most vital service sectors. Travel is required for site management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. • Lead and mentor a pod team of Facility Asset Managers across selected areas. • Build strong relationships with government agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams. • Oversee planned and breakdown maintenance and manage minor projects. • Drive operational excellence through business improvement collaboration. • Manage budgets, KPIs, and ensure timely, high‑quality service delivery. • Travel for site management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. • Work across diverse portfolios: Health, Education, Justice, Government Housing.

What You Bring

Ventia is seeking an experienced Senior Facility Asset Manager (SFAM) for the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) contract in South Australia, covering the Greater Metro and Fleurieu Region. The role involves leading maintenance delivery and minor projects within the Education portfolio while guiding a team of Facility Asset Managers. • Proven leadership experience in facilities management or related fields. • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. • Trade or business‑related qualifications (Property, FM, CM, PM) desirable. • Hold a current driver’s licence, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check.
