Within the Building Engineering Services Group, engineers design critical infrastructure that powers the digital age, from high‑performance data centers to dynamic commercial spaces. The team blends mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil expertise to solve complex challenges, advancing sustainability, technology, and human experience. • Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs. • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures under professional supervision. • Perform assignments directed by a Project Manager and support additional duties as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates should be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem‑solving and communication abilities, and possess basic Microsoft Office skills. A commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture and, for preferred applicants, three years of study with a 3.0+ GPA, familiarity with Autodesk Revit, IESVE, or Trane Trace, and local residency are advantageous. • Preferred: three years completed toward a degree with a 3.0+ GPA. • Preferred: proficiency with Autodesk Revit, IESVE, or Trane Trace 700/3D. • Required: currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program. • Required: strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities. • Required: effective communication skills and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
