About the Role

What You Bring
Mortenson seeks an experienced Assistant Project Manager for the Power Delivery Services Group. The role partners with the Project Manager from bid preparation through client acceptance and includes leading, coaching, and mentoring team members. Strong communication, flexibility, integrity, and confidentiality are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience). • Minimum six years of relevant experience. • Proven ability to support complex projects. • Strong detail orientation and multitasking skills. • Basic knowledge of construction law and business practices. • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and related web applications. • Professional attitude with strong customer service skills. • Ability to interpret and apply Mortenson policies. • Valid driver’s license.

Benefits
The position offers a base salary ranging from $120,000 to $137,700, with higher rates for Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C., and is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
