Ensures site safety through inspections, training, hazard control, and incident management.

About the Role
• Maintains inventory of safety supplies and equipment. • Accompanies injured workers to the occupational clinic for managing injury incidents. • Monitors worker’s compensation case management at the job site. • Conducts thorough and detailed job site inspections across various business units and trades to ensure safety and compliance. • Delivers safety equipment to job sites as required. • Completes documented safety observations. • Helps identify and develop policies and procedures for continuous aggressive improvement. • Interacts with regulatory agencies such as OSHA, local officials, etc. • Works with the site leaders to plan adequately for upcoming scope of work. • Develops agendas for weekly safety meetings and presents those topics to the site team. • Conducts ongoing site condition assessments, addresses hazards appropriately, and reviews safety documents daily. • Communicates to the appropriate personnel, in a timely manner, any hazards, incidents, etc. that may affect the safety of the job site or Partners. • Collaborates with customers to ensure compliance with all site rules and expectations. • Delivers comprehensive safety orientations and training sessions to Partners and temporary staff across various business units, promoting a culture of safety and compliance. • Responsible for managing Safety Data Sheets and the onsite chemical inventory at each assigned job site. • Performs incident investigations for all incidents and near misses.

What You Bring
• Ability to use problem-solving skills to find solutions to unsafe working conditions and environmental concerns. • Excellent communication skills. • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience. • Preferably an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, or a related field. • Construction Health and Safety Technician Certification (CHST) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) is preferred. • Must possess a valid state driver’s license for occasional travel to job sites or client locations. • Solid understanding of specific safety standards and government regulations. • Ability to use technology: computers and complex testing equipment. • Must meet TD’s safety eligibility requirements for operating a company insured vehicle.
