About the Role

• Process and verify submittals to ensure correct products and materials are installed. • Coordinate submittals, Requests for Information, and related reports. • Prepare transmittals and draft correspondence for the Resident Engineer. • Assist in creating as‑built drawings and compile project close‑out records. • Review Inspector’s Daily Reports for accuracy and completeness. • Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, including schedules and cost analyses. • Organize and maintain project records for easy access by the project team. • Support meeting preparation by drafting agendas and recording minutes. • Ensure project work complies with all requirements and standards. • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, flagging issues promptly. • Verify quantity calculations of completed work. • Confirm material certifications and testing before recommending contractor payment. • Help develop and maintain project schedules. • Perform assorted tasks to support engineering staff.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Water Resources, Civil, Environmental Engineering or a related field, with several years of experience in wastewater, civil, or hydraulic engineering. Expertise in industry‑standard software and hydraulic modeling is required to succeed in this position. • Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources, Civil, Environmental Engineering (or related) with 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4 years experience. • Proficiency with Autodesk InfoWorks ICM, InfoAsset Manager, SewerGems, XPSWMM, InfoWater, ArcGIS, and MapInfo. • Experience collecting hydraulic data, calibrating models, and conducting risk assessments. • Ability to build hydraulic models, perform ancillary and alternate scenario analyses, and estimate demand/flow.
