About the Role
Guided by a client‑focus mindset, the scheduler will manage key assignments, provide strategic direction, and ensure projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled and monitored, aligning delivery with the broader company vision. Creating opportunities for people to excel involves fostering knowledge sharing, networking, leveraging the Mace group’s expertise, and maintaining effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders. • Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule in Primavera P6 and MS Project Online across all workstreams. • Maintain the work breakdown structure, scope, basis of schedule document and assumptions log with strict change control. • Establish, baseline and report on schedule variance, providing regular critical‑path and trend analysis. • Lead schedule planning workshops and monthly progress reviews with multi‑disciplinary teams and consultants. • Assess, challenge and incorporate contractors' schedules into the overall programme. • Produce schedule status reports and consolidated timeline views for stakeholders, resource planning and budgeting. • Support schedule baselining, re‑baselining and quantitative schedule risk assessments (QSRA). • Align schedule data with cost and risk controls in partnership with the controls and performance team. • Develop and refine planning processes and procedures to enhance programme delivery. • Create ad‑hoc schedules and "what‑if" scenario analyses to support project decisions. • Communicate schedule information effectively to C‑suite executives and senior stakeholders.

What You Bring
The senior scheduler role sits within the Chief Infrastructure Office of a semi‑state organisation in Ireland. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in scheduling large capital infrastructure projects, a degree‑level qualification in project management, engineering or construction, and strong analytical and IT skills, especially in Primavera, MS Project Online and Excel. Integrity means supporting senior management in negotiations and contract development, contributing to long‑term strategy, and holding others accountable to Mace’s values while making a positive impact on people, clients and the planet. • Possess 8+ years of hands‑on scheduling experience on large, complex infrastructure projects, especially in offshore energy. • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; Power BI experience is desirable. • Demonstrated ability to develop work breakdown structures, analyse contractor schedules and control programme progress. • Hold a relevant university qualification and professional membership (e.g., APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA). • Strong commercial, financial and sustainability acumen with experience in the electrical sector. • Leadership experience managing large, diverse teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
