About the Role
The incumbent will serve as a Database Developer and Web Designer for the DoD International AIMS Program Office, creating and maintaining a classified, cloud‑native address‑assignment database (MongoDB preferred) at Robins Air Force Base. Responsibilities include full‑life‑cycle application development, infrastructure spin‑up, security hardening, and detailed technical documentation while engaging directly with stakeholders. • Develop and maintain a classified cloud‑native database (MongoDB preferred) for DoD IFF tracking. • Lead initial application deployment, environment configuration, and security hardening. • Assist government customers with milestone scheduling, risk analysis, and reporting. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. • Produce detailed technical documentation for project requirements and designs. • Implement database security protocols, backup procedures, and disaster‑recovery processes. • Utilize JavaScript/Node.js, React, HTML/CSS, Git, and SQL databases in development work. • Leverage CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) when appropriate.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or four years of relevant experience), at least two years of backend development with JavaScript/Node.js, two years with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, and experience with SQL databases. Candidates must obtain an IAT Level II certification within 12 months, hold a Secret clearance, and demonstrate strong communication and Git version‑control skills. Desired experience covers green‑field deployments, continuous monitoring, ATO processes, cloud security frameworks, CI/CD, containerization, and API design. • Obtain IAT Level II certification within 12 months and maintain a Secret clearance. • Apply knowledge of cloud security frameworks (FedRAMP, DoD IL4/IL5) and ATO processes. • Travel up to 20 % and work on‑site at Robins Air Force Base, standard 40‑hour week.
