About the Role
The role of Principal Enterprise Architect – Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter) invites you to lead digital transformation within Baker Hughes’ Engineering Digital Technology Team. You will work closely with people across the organization to drive innovative PLM solutions. • Lead the architecture and development of the full suite of Teamcenter PLM functionalities, modules, and associated products, with understanding of OOTB processes and Mendix. • Provide consulting expertise for process/functional transformation and technology solution design across the entire product lifecycle. • Act as a Digital Technology business partner and PLM change agent, advising on strategic business process and technology issues. • Define and execute data migration and conversion strategy and technical plan, leveraging migration methods and tools. • Leverage PLM industry best practices and global process strategy to define new business processes, data models, and application configurations; build TO-BE maps. • Provide expertise in process and data re-engineering and design using formal modelling and analysis tools. • Assess risks, costs, benefits of customization vs configuration and produce documented application frameworks or architectures. • Ensure IT implementation standards are incorporated from project start, including documentation, middleware, and system standards. • Define and communicate transformation project architecture and execution strategy; lead readiness projects for Teamcenter rollouts.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IS, IT, or Computer Science. • Minimum 12 years experience architecting large‑scale Siemens Teamcenter PLM transformations, including brown‑field data migration and cutover. • Deep domain expertise in systems engineering, product structuring, BOM management, part classification, document management, change management, CAD integration, and PLM‑ERP/MES/CRM integrations. • Strong understanding of business processes (ITO, OTR, RTR, NPI) to design robust solutions with minimal customization. • Experience developing and communicating technology strategies, architecture frameworks, and product roadmaps. • Working knowledge of AWS (Active Workspace) and Mendix; familiarity with all Teamcenter modules and roadmap. • Working knowledge of BMIDE, ITK/portal customization, Java, VB, XML, XSLT, C/C++, J2EE, Oracle, Unix/Linux, Siteminder, LDAP, SOA, messaging, and physical architectures. • Experience with Agile/SCRUM project implementation approaches. • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to communicate complex topics clearly. • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
