About the Role

The Finance & Account Manager role in Mumbai falls under Property and Asset Management. You will handle client finance and accounting duties at the site, following the financial services scope defined in the Property Management Services agreement. Key responsibilities include processing vendor invoices and payments, conducting vendor reconciliations, and generating common area maintenance and utility invoices. You will also prepare year‑end expense reconciliation reports, support annual budget preparation, and manage procurement, supplier contracts, and audit activities. You will report directly to the Property Manager and work alongside a small site team. The position is on‑site in Mumbai with a scheduled 48‑hour work week. • Receive vendor invoices, update the tracker, obtain approvals, and post to accounting software. • Process vendor payments and perform semi‑annual vendor reconciliations with balance confirmations. • Generate and record common area maintenance, utility, and other invoices; monitor tenant collections and credits. • Prepare year‑end expense reconciliation reports and assist with annual budget preparation and recoveries. • Manage procurement processes, supplier contracts, service level agreements, and conduct bidding/RFPs as needed. • Conduct vendor statutory compliance checks, procurement and store audits, and maintain a categorized vendor database. • Produce financial reports, liaise with Compliance and Liaisoning Manager, and support default proceedings. • Coordinate with multiple departments, negotiate contracts, and ensure effective stock control.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is analytical, meticulous, and possesses strong accounting and financial management skills. A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce with 2‑3 years of experience, proficiency in Tally, and knowledge of GAAP are required; budgeting and cost‑control expertise is a plus. • Hold a degree/diploma in Accounting/Finance with 2‑3 years relevant experience and proficiency in Tally and GAAP. • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
