About the Role
Provide on-site implementation of power-management and mission-critical monitoring and control systems such as Brightlayer, Foreseer, Power Xpert, PowerNet, and next-generation platforms. Deliver applied engineering and consulting services covering system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, training, and modification of power-management and control solutions. Experience with service-type (time-and-material) jobs and small projects under $50 K is required. The role involves up to 75 % travel outside the candidate’s local service region and up to 25 % within it, often at industrial plants that may require climbing or confined-space work. • Implement and commission power‑management and mission‑critical monitoring systems on‑site. • Provide engineering consultation for integration, installation, start‑up, maintenance, repair, training, and system modification. • Manage service‑type (T&M) and small projects (< $50 K) with extensive travel (up to 75 % off‑site).

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or possess at least three years of relevant experience. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and reside within a 50‑mile radius of the listed work locations; no relocation assistance is provided. A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required. The position requires the ability to pass periodic background and drug screenings. Required technical knowledge includes BAS and EPMS SCADA solutions, HMI software, power-monitoring packages, and standard SCADA protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, OPC, DDE, and TCP/IP. Strong computer skills with Windows OS and databases, networking expertise (including serial, Ethernet, and fiber troubleshooting), and familiarity with power-quality meters, protective relays, UPS, and diagnostic test equipment are essential. Candidates must understand safety precautions for automation and power-management systems and be able to interact with customers, sales teams, and internal staff on technical matters.
