About the Role
• Install HVAC equipment such as air handler drains, split‑system piping, and ductwork under senior technician direction. • Install refrigeration components including display case drains, walk‑in box drains, and overhead hangers. • Perform all work safely using appropriate power tools, hand tools, vehicles, machinery, and PPE. • Escalate safety or quality issues promptly to on‑site senior technicians or project managers. • Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly handle spare and waste materials. • Assist senior technicians with installation tasks and provide on‑site support as needed. • Install all types of piping, including PVC, copper, and brazed copper line sets. • Operate scissor lifts or forklifts when required. • Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and material sizing.

What You Bring
The Apprentice (HVAC or Refrigeration) supports the installation team by completing tasks safely, promptly, accurately, and professionally, following customer specifications, building codes, and proper piping practices. The role requires using power and hand tools, vehicles, machinery, and personal protective equipment as directed, and escalating any safety or quality concerns to senior technicians or project managers. A clean and professional job site is essential; all spare and waste materials must be properly stored, disassembled, or removed. The apprentice works under the guidance of senior technicians, providing assistance when needed, and conducts all duties with honesty, ethics, and professionalism. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or trade school completion. Preferred experience includes two or more years in construction, refrigeration, HVAC, or a related trade, and the ability to operate a scissor lift or forklift. Required skills cover job‑site safety knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, basic electrical and refrigeration system understanding, punctuality, dependability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in varied conditions. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record and basic computer proficiency (email, Word, Excel) are also required.
