About the Role
The Skilled Inspector will join the Inspection team to raise non‑conformances, over‑check critical components and verify that parts meet customer requirements. They will set deadlines to achieve performance targets and delivery commitments, work compliantly to ensure products are machined to correct technical and quality specifications, and maintain high health‑and‑safety standards. Continuous review and improvement processes will be participated in, and daily collaboration with Quality and Engineering functions will ensure the highest standards. • Raise non‑conformances and over‑check critical components. • Verify parts against customer specifications and technical quality standards. • Meet performance targets and delivery deadlines. • Maintain high health‑and‑safety standards. • Participate in continuous improvement and best‑practice reviews. • Collaborate daily with Quality and Engineering functions. • Interpret engineering drawings and apply various inspection techniques. • Maintain up‑to‑date health‑and‑safety knowledge.

What You Bring
Candidates must have completed a recognised time‑served apprenticeship, such as a City & Guilds NVQ 3 or equivalent, and demonstrate solid inspection experience. They should be confident interpreting engineering drawings for precision‑measuring equipment and possess knowledge of a wide range of inspection techniques. A professional, flexible attitude, clear communication at all levels and up‑to‑date health‑and‑safety knowledge are also required. • Hold a recognised time‑served apprenticeship (e.g., City & Guilds NVQ 3) or equivalent. • Demonstrate solid inspection experience and proficiency with precision measuring equipment. • Exhibit a professional, flexible attitude with clear communication skills.
