About the Role

The assembler builds generator sets and sub‑assemblies, handling both standard and custom product lines with hand and power tools while adhering to quality and procedural standards. The position also contributes to process improvement, line efficiency, and other tasks directed by the Line Lead or supervisor. Responsibilities include following work instructions, drawings, and schematics for medium‑complexity tasks across multiple lines, cross‑training, training new hires, recognizing defective parts, and suggesting equipment or process enhancements to improve safety, quality, and productivity. The assembler must resolve problems with supervisor support, comply with safety and environmental policies, promote a culture of compliance, and undertake special projects as needed. • Assemble generator sets and sub‑assemblies using hand and power tools. • Follow work instructions, drawings, and schematics for medium‑complexity tasks. • Cross‑train on multiple assembly lines and assist other areas when needed. • Train new employees on standard work and assembly procedures. • Detect and report defective or damaged parts to maintain quality. • Propose and implement improvements to equipment, designs, or processes. • Resolve assembly issues with guidance from supervisors. • Comply with safety, environmental, and Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct policies. • Perform special projects assigned by the Line Lead or supervisor. • Utilize SAP (or equivalent ERP) to access required information.
