About the Role

All employees are expected to fully align with Dillon’s core commitment to health and safety, actively engaging with our processes, identifying, and reporting hazards. • Assist project managers with coordination of transportation projects. • Contribute to preliminary and detailed design, engineering studies, technical reports, specifications, calculations, and CADD drafting. • Perform site investigations and condition assessments. • Review safe work practices and conduct risk assessments. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including engineers, planners, environmental scientists, technologists, and administrative staff.

What You Bring

Dillon Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineering Co‑op/Intern to join our multidisciplinary team. The role offers exposure to new and exciting projects in the consulting engineering industry, and is available at our Kingston or London office. • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at Western University. • Knowledge of municipal/provincial engineering standards and regulatory requirements. • Familiarity with industry standards, specifications, and good engineering practices. • Understanding of project design and implementation, including drawings, reports, contract documents, tendering, and administration. • Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or InRoads is a plus. • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

$20‑$30 per hour, dependent on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to pay outside the posted range, in compliance with applicable law.
