About the Role
The Field Ops Lead serves as the on‑site field lead responsible for executing emergency response and environmental remediation projects at client facilities. This role acts as the primary field point of contact, reporting daily activities and concerns to the manager while ensuring all work adheres to health, safety, and regulatory standards. Key duties include assisting the project manager with scope development, safety requirements, waste characterization, shipping, and documentation; supervising field work to guarantee safety, compliance, and accuracy; and collaborating with purchasing agents to obtain supplier pricing and develop project budgets. The Lead also creates and tracks purchase orders, compiles essential paperwork such as health‑and‑safety meeting records and manifests, and coordinates subcontractor schedules while verifying certifications and safety plans. • Assist project manager with scope development, safety requirements, waste characterization, shipping, and documentation. • Supervise field work to ensure safe, compliant, and accurate execution per project scope. • Coordinate with purchasing agents to obtain supplier pricing and develop project cost budgets. • Create and track purchase orders; compile health‑and‑safety meeting records, vendor receipts, manifests, air‑monitoring data, and calibration logs. • Schedule subcontractor field work and verify training certifications, safety plans, and equipment procurement. • Perform regular maintenance and develop schedules for company‑owned equipment; operate company vehicles as needed. • Implement technical solutions to improve equipment operating capabilities and provide performance feedback to leadership. • Substitute for workers during absences and address bottlenecks in high‑traffic areas. • Ensure all subcontractors meet training, certification, and customer‑specific health and safety procedures. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and any required special licenses (e.g., CDL) and uphold DOT compliance.

What You Bring
Successful candidates bring at least two years of relevant experience and possess knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing, recycling techniques, and DOT‑related licensing. They demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, and hold a valid driver’s license, with special licenses (e.g., CDL) as required.
