About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare, handle, and supply materials for other trades on construction sites. Key duties include loading and unloading equipment, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, leveling ground, tending mortar and grout, moving and shoveling materials, performing general cleanup, and handling concrete placement and vibration. The role also requires building relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and performing any other assigned tasks. • Load and unload equipment • Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5x7x16) and staging • Level ground for scaffolding installation • Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete as needed • Perform general cleanup, debris removal, sweeping, washing, and disposal or burning of waste • Build effective relationships with team members of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels • Operate power and hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies • Maintain detail orientation, active listening, and clear communication, welcoming diverse input

What You Bring

• Tend mortar and grout; lift, unload, move, and shovel between wheelbarrows and buckets • Demonstrate strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, and professional customer service • May require completion of a two‑year apprenticeship; prior construction experience preferred • Frequent physical demands include standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, climbing, lifting/carrying up to 50 lb (with assistance for loads over 50 lb), pushing/pulling up to 50 lb, and repetitive hand/arm movements • Occasional exposure to vibration, heights, confined spaces, heat/cold, dust, grease/oil, and excessive noise
