About the Role
As a Product Development Officer you will perform laboratory testing, research, and product development to support R&D projects. Working in a NATA‑accredited laboratory, you will help design and formulate bituminous products while ensuring compliance with quality standards. You will also assist in delivering innovative solutions for clients. • Conduct sampling, testing, calibrations, and reporting per laboratory quality systems. • Support product development projects, including binder and emulsion formulation/design to meet business requirements. • Maintain accurate records, prepare technical reports, and assist with equipment maintenance and calibrations. • Apply safety, quality, and environmental processes to promote Zero Harm. • Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with clients to deliver commissioned work and technical advice. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge to enhance business performance.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in science, chemical engineering, or materials. • Laboratory experience in materials testing, preferably in a NATA‑accredited environment. • Knowledge of bituminous binders, emulsions, surfactants or adhesives (preferred). • Ability to research and implement technical solutions. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Excellent communication and report‑writing ability. • High attention to detail; capable of working autonomously and in a team.
