Design and analyze highway/railroad bridges, lead technical work, and supervise staff.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Apply structural engineering analysis, design, and detailing techniques to develop contract documents for bridge projects, including traditional, long‑span, railroad, retaining‑wall, and sign bridges in seismic locations. • Complete structural load ratings for simple and complex bridge structures. • Assign work and/or review design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs. • Serve as technical bridge lead.

What You Bring
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering. • Minimum of 3 years' experience in bridge design. • Experience with engineering software such as SAP2000, LARSA 4D, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB‑MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, Midas Civil, MDX, CSiBridge, ADINA, RM Bridge, spColumn, LUSAS, STLBridgeLRFD, STLBridge. • Bachelor's degree. • Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) for the position location. • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and bridge design software packages. • Knowledge of ADINA, LUSAS, Bentley OpenBridge Designer/Modeler, Autodesk Infraworks, Civil3D. • Experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA, and prestressed concrete design. • Experience using structural analysis programs and bridge design software. • Experience managing junior staff. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
