About the Role
The Leasing Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and future residents, guiding them through the home‑finding and leasing process. This role combines customer‑focused communication with administrative responsibilities such as collecting documents, processing applications, and ensuring compliance with company policies. • Conduct outbound and inbound follow‑up with leads and schedule home viewings. • Gather, process, and enter prospective resident documents, credit and criminal checks in the internal system. • Maintain accurate records in the proprietary database and ensure compliance with Fair Housing, FCRA, and ADA regulations. • Provide feedback from showings to cross‑functional teams and collaborate with local market leaders to resolve leasing issues. • Achieve monthly move‑in targets (e.g., ≥ 50 units) and outperform peer averages at each stage of the sales funnel. • Maintain high customer‑satisfaction scores and low procedural error rates.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least four years of leasing experience, including three years in multi‑family or single‑family rentals, and possess strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or Communications is preferred but not required, and familiarity with Rently, grassroots marketing, and fair‑housing regulations is advantageous. The position demands physical stamina to lift up to 25 lb, climb stairs, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
