About the Role

• Manage product performance attributes and lifecycle for new or existing engine products. • Specify, size, and select subsystem components per project specifications. • Develop engine design concepts and define subsystem and safety requirements. • Coordinate design execution with cross‑functional project teams. • Analyze engine/system performance against site conditions and Design Validation Plans. • Create and execute Design Validation Plans per company standards. • Conduct engine and subsystem performance testing and analyze data. • Author test reports, performance summaries, and customer‑facing documentation. • Support customer service, training, sales, and other departments as needed. • Participate in in‑field testing and fuel‑type/emissions analysis. • Contribute to engine calibration refinement through analytics and testing. • Coordinate data delivery to key customer accounts. • Promote compliance with Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.

What You Bring

The engineer will conduct research, design, and application of engines and engine systems for stationary or mobile use, with a primary focus on reciprocating diesel and gas engines. Strong engine knowledge and hands‑on experience are essential. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, hold a bachelor’s degree in automotive or mechanical engineering (or equivalent), and possess at least five years of relevant engineering experience. Experience with automotive, power‑generation, engine calibration, design, or simulation is required. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). • Minimum five years of engineering experience. • Experience with automotive, power generation, engine calibration, design, or simulation. • Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, NI LabVIEW, and PLC programming. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. • Demonstrated project‑management and interpersonal abilities. • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. • Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
