About the Role
The Director, Project Controls is responsible for overseeing the project control staff—cost, schedule, and estimating—and providing leadership and direction to the team. This position is accountable for the performance and results of the Project Controls function. Key duties include preparing and managing quarterly earnings gap analysis for the Asset Performance Solution business, supporting leadership actions to achieve financial targets, and guiding individual PSL leadership on earnings opportunities. The role also manages monthly PSR reviews, agendas, action items, and conducts project forecast model updates. The Director develops project variance analyses, cost control management, and risk analysis, while supporting global resource management and accounting functions. Responsibilities extend to monthly project close‑out, A/R and cash‑flow tracking, budget and forecast updates, quarterly SOX testing, and overseeing reporting systems such as Power BI and Power Apps. • Oversee cost, schedule, and estimating staff, providing leadership and direction. • Prepare and manage quarterly earnings gap analysis for Asset Performance Solution. • Support leadership actions to meet business financial targets and guide PSL leaders. • Conduct monthly PSR reviews, manage agendas, and approve action items. • Update project forecast models and provide monthly updates to PMs. • Develop variance, trending, and expenditure analyses; manage cost control and risk analysis. • Liaise with global resource management and accounting teams for CCR, GRM, TRM. • Track monthly project close‑out, accounts receivable, and cash flow; follow up on actions. • Support budget and forecast updates and perform quarterly SOX testing. • Oversee reporting systems, develop Power BI and Power Apps solutions, and maintain performance databases. • Participate in defining global project cost control strategies and procedures.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and over 20 years of experience in O&M projects, A&F, or related fields.
