About the Role

In this role you will set up and operate progressive die press machines, auxiliary equipment, saws, assembly tables, automated machinery and Cadweld/Flashweld/brazing tools to produce quality parts. You will follow blueprints, layouts, templates and work orders, inspect material dimensions and use micrometers, calipers and gauges to verify specifications. Materials will be moved with pallet jacks, lift trucks or cranes, safety devices installed, and any equipment faults or material defects reported while maintaining a clean work area. • Set up and operate progressive die press machines, auxiliary equipment, saws, assembly tables, automated machinery, and Cadweld/Flashweld/brazing tools. • Follow blueprints, layouts, templates, and work orders to produce parts to specification. • Inspect material size, type, identification, and configuration; use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices. • Adjust dies, strokes, and feeds; install and verify safety devices for each job. • Move materials with pallet jacks, lift trucks, or cranes and report faulty equipment or defective material. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety regulations. • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make informed decisions to keep production running.

What You Bring

The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to read drawings and verbal instructions. Experience with hand and power tools, light‑industrial environments and heavy lifting (up to 50 lb) is preferred, and lift‑truck operation is recommended. Candidates must be self‑motivated, safety‑conscious and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment. • Read and interpret drawings, order sheets, and verbal instructions; work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. • Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lb) and operate lift trucks (preferred). • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and self‑motivation with minimal supervision.
