About the Role

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced senior manager to join the Technical Accounting group, which establishes accounting for complex transactions such as business combinations, partnerships, revenue, leasing, stock‑based compensation, hedging and financial instruments, and maintains global accounting policies. The role involves leading the structuring and evaluation of complex transactions, collaborating with finance, treasury, tax and legal teams, and providing strategic technical accounting guidance to ensure accurate external reporting. • Minimum 8 years of technical accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 or major SEC clients. • Proven ability to research, document and resolve judgmental accounting issues under U.S. GAAP and SEC rules. • Experience interpreting transaction documents for accounting and disclosure implications. • CPA certification required; additional credentials such as CFA are a plus. • Strong analytical, business acumen and communication skills.

The position is a backfill role located in Toronto, Canada (pay CAD 131,000‑181,000) or Dallas, USA (pay USD 118,000‑176,000), with base salary ranges reflecting role, level and location.
