About the Role
• Maintain and service chilled water air‑conditioning plants, refrigeration systems, and related equipment on U.S. Navy and Coast Guard vessels • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control problems in HVAC systems • Respond to service and warranty calls • Use tools and instruments to service and repair mechanical systems • Perform preventative tasks such as belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning • Conduct prescribed non‑destructive tests and collect samples for analysis

What You Bring
• Require 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience with mechanical troubleshooting • Require a valid driver’s license and Mechanical Journeyman license • Require U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government clearances and worksite badges • Require good verbal and written communication skills • Preferred: Experience with Navy marine service equipment and chiller maintenance • Preferred: Experience punching tubes and reclaiming refrigerant • Preferred: Licenses for refrigerants, boiler, and steam service
