About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver ensures vehicle compliance with company safety standards, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, reading route sheets, loading refuse using manual or automatic controls, operating the compactor, and disposing of material at designated facilities. The driver interacts courteously with customers and dispatchers, tags unsatisfactory containers, monitors waste for violations, cleans spills, and maintains vehicle readiness by removing waste from the packer blade and truck body. The role requires completing route productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports while meeting productivity standards and following safety policies, including participation in the ReSOP program. Additional responsibilities involve upholding strong customer service, effective time management, consistent follow‑through, and demonstrating honesty, trustworthiness, and pride in one’s work.

What You Bring
Minimum qualification is a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
