What You Bring

Kimley-Horn's Akron, OH office is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Renewable Structures team. This position is on‑site in Akron and is not remote. • Minimum 4 years of engineering design experience, preferably in the energy sector • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months • Experience with design, permitting, and relevant software applications • Proficient in task management, concept design, and supporting project management • Strong client coordination, meeting attendance, and quality oversight • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to produce plan sets and construction documents • Design experience with utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting
