About the Role
The Community Manager – BTR will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a build‑to‑rent community in Fort Worth, Texas. This role includes managing the on‑site team, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations, and achieving budgeted financial and operational goals. Key duties involve preparing homes and common areas for leasing, conducting tours, handling resident inquiries, and managing the lease‑up process from application to rent collection and enforcement. The manager also leads hiring, onboarding, and training for the BTR team, and collaborates with vendors and service providers to maintain property standards. • Manage daily operations, budget, and compliance for a build‑to‑rent community. • Lead leasing activities: tour prospects, process applications, collect rent, and enforce leases. • Supervise, hire, onboard, and train on‑site staff while monitoring performance. • Develop and execute marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue targets. • Oversee vendor relations and maintenance to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal. • Analyze financial statements, prepare reports, and control expenditures within budget. • Resolve resident inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction. • Utilize property management systems for ledgers, service requests, and reputation management.

What You Bring
Candidates should have an associate degree or higher (preferred), an active Texas Real Estate or Property Manager in Charge license, and at least three years of experience in build‑to‑rent, new‑construction, or multi‑family property management. Preferred designations include CAM, NALP, or CPM, and strong proficiency with property management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office. • Hold an active Texas Real Estate/Property Manager license and 3+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and technology skills; CAM/NALP/CPM preferred.
