About the Role
The Routing and Logistics Expert researches, develops, and implements routing and logistics plans to improve productivity, safety, and reduce costs. The role involves communicating route changes to key personnel, providing training and transition tools, and monitoring activities during implementation. Travel throughout the market area (Fresno County to San Diego County) is required, with overnight stays that may range from a few days to several weeks. Standard business hours are observed, with occasional holidays and Saturdays. Key duties include designing and redesigning routing solutions by collecting, verifying, and analyzing data on existing routes, vehicles, and disposal facilities. The expert assists in creating policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control, and implements plans to optimize transportation operations. Ongoing monitoring of route implementation and productivity results is also required. • Travel throughout market area (Fresno to San Diego) with overnight stays ranging from days to weeks. • Design and redesign routing and logistics solutions using data analysis. • Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and cost‑control procedures. • Communicate route changes and provide training and transition tools. • Monitor implementation of new routes and analyze productivity results.

Required qualifications are an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with at least two years of relevant work experience. No prior experience beyond the education requirement is necessary. Preferred qualifications are not specified. The position is primarily office‑based, using standard office equipment such as computers and phones, but also involves travel. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for required air travel. • Valid driver’s license required. • Proficient with Excel, OPUS, MAS; strong analytical skills; E‑Route Logistics experience a plus. • Required: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field (or High School/GED with 2 years experience). • Must obtain REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for required air travel.

Benefits
Compensation includes a base salary range of $77,970 to $90,000, with eligibility for incentive pay.
