About the Role
The Lead Engineer will interpret detailed, non‑standard switchboard customer requirements and translate them into complete design packages for manufacturing. This includes converting operating sequence descriptions into control and protection schematics, supporting automation initiatives, and collaborating with global teams on E‑Plan deployment. In this position you will provide technical leadership across the entire ETO process, mentor the team to improve quality and efficiency, and independently handle a range of switchboard product offerings. You will work with IEC/UL/NEMA standards, engage with global partners for knowledge exchange, and drive initiatives that enhance organizational capabilities and quality metrics. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship on end‑to‑end ETO processes. • Drive COE activities and ensure proficiency in interpreting customer requirements. • Independently design and deliver various switchboard product lines (general purpose, IFS, GQC, metering). • Apply IEC, UL, and NEMA electrical standards in design work. • Collaborate with global partners to exchange knowledge and develop team training plans. • Design and implement PLC applications, I/O modules, synchronization relays, contactors, and event recorders. • Utilize the PLC testing ecosystem at EIIC for PLC‑integrated switchboards. • Lead initiatives to build organizational capabilities and improve quality metrics in ETO. • Expand team responsibilities to include sales and CSR functions. • Apply DMAIC/Sigma Green Belt methods for process improvement and cost reduction.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Power Systems and brings over ten years of hands‑on electrical design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, E‑Plan, PLC applications, and industry communication protocols is required, along with DMAIC/Sigma Green Belt expertise, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills. • Configure and program industry communication protocols (RS‑485, Ethernet, INCOM, Profibus, Modbus) and related hardware. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Power Systems with 10+ years of hands‑on design experience. • Proficient in AutoCAD and E‑Plan. • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, delegation, and decision‑making skills. • Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal abilities.
